What’s Grounding?
Touching the Earth with your bare skin. That’s grounding.
Your body generates electrical energy through physical motion and mental emotion. Earth acts as an electrical “ground” (GND) by absorbing this excess electricity.
But when you’re constantly insulated by rubber-soled shoes, that energy has nowhere to go. Being ungrounded can lead to:
Poor sleep
Overthinking
Physical fatigue
Emotional burn-out
What’s a Grounding Circle?
A grounding circle is a place for people to ground themselves together.
But it can also be for:
networking
relaxing in nature
ideas for building the community
bonding with others over shared interests
space to decompress from the stresses of modern life
Join us Wednesday from 6pm-7pm @ Gazebo Park (Mt. Washington)
